Along the same lines, read "Another Spin for Vinyl" by Alex Williams in today's Sunday New York Times (August 31, 2008). The article is in the Sunday Styles section below the fold. It appears that major labels are expanding their vinyl offerings and that some in significant numbers in their teens and twenties are becoming vinylphiles. I have noticed this undergound niche trend in Ann Arbor, as well.
