I am new to this forum and am looking for stereo suggestions. I have about $2,000.00 to spend. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I have one suggetsion of a Kenwood 9G already. Thanks
Too vague to answer. What are you expecting for $2k : How big is your room? What's your taste in music? Do you want a cd player, a turntable, a receiver (or integrated amp and tuner), a pre/power amp combination? Speakers? New? Used? Tubes? Solid State? Class A? AB? Class-D or Class-T? Or Home Theatre?
This could very well be a troll, or else purvis13 really knows absolutely nothing. If the "13" in your username refers to your age, I am sure patience will be exercised. Hopefully someone here can set you on the right track as long as you answer the questions I asked honestly. Don't expect an absolute "end all" system, but with prudent choices you should be able to put together a good sounding system with a $2k budget. In fact, from time to time (over the years) TAS has even published "suggested" systems that are balanced in performance and budget that would work very well together. For now I hope that helps.
