In the next few days, I will have replaced my old Infocus 7210 and Stewart Firehawk 92" screen. I am waiting for the distributor to come and install the new JVC RS35 with Stewart Studiotek 130" screen. I have been using my Infocus 7210 for about 3 years without any complain except that, I can see the rainbow effect that sometime, will be pretty disturbing. Other than that, Infocus 7210 is a very good projector indeed.
I would like to ask if there is any other way to further improve the video quality of this JVC RS35? I heard that inserting Pure Power 700 will help to improve the black level.
Any idea? I am welcome for any suggestion. Regards/Vincent.
Hi Jonathan:
as far as we know try the transparent reference isolator (4 outlets) with this one and use their Transparent DVI cable, this pieces makes a huge improvement with any projector. A friend of mine owns a Marantz VP11-s2 a fine unit but this combo makes this one to deliver the best ansi contrast have anyone ever measured of 935.
