Introducing Tube's into my SS system

Q: I have a solid state systems (Ayre AX=7e intergarated, Rotel CD-1072 and Paradigm Studio 60's) and want to introduce a tube component into my system. I'm staying with my amp for awhile so am wondering about a tubed CD player. Any recommendations on CD players and also are there tube CD players that have balanced connections? Thanks. Tim

You might consider the PrimaLuna Model Eight CD player, reviewed by Dick Olsher in Issue 183 (August, 2008).
