If only I could renew my subscription

default -- Tue, 12/22/2009 - 21:32

I keep getting renewal notices in the mail that have a P.P.S. :
RENEW ONLINE! Now you can also renew instantly online. Just go to teh Subscriptions page at www.tehaboslutesound.com and choose "Renew Your Subscription", then follow the easy instructions blah blah blah..... We hope you enjoy the ease of renewing yoru subscription on the web. Try it!
Unfortunately, this is NOT easy in any way.  This my third attempt and I cannot find the link to this page, let alone a link to subscribe in general (other than a 'for free' option).
You'd think a magazine that depends on subscriptions would make this easier.

Step 2: click on the absolute sound logo:

Step 3: click on "Renew Your Subscription" (middle of the right column):

Tom, I hate to break it to you, but your system still sucks. I followed the direct link you gave, typed in my account number and kept getting the same page asking for my account number. Is it so hard to get this right and not drive subscribers nuts? I'm so impressed by this show of careful design and concern over customer satisfaction that I'm not going to pay the $14.95 I was planning to pay for my initial one year subscription to The Absolute Sound. Let me know when you get it together.

Is it possible we're looking at Absolute Sound's un-friendly web design PLUS ksternberg having a problem with the settings on his/her browser?
