Hydra 8 upgrade to Version 2

Has anyone upgraded their Hydra 8 (with SRZ1 outlets) to version II ($600 upgrade from Shunyata)? I believe the main portion of the upgrade is the use of a new noise reduction compound - ZrCa-2000 according to Shunyata's web site. I would appreciate any feedback  from TAS editors and folks who have gone through the upgrade in terms of perceived improvements (or not) and whether the improvements were nuanced vs. easily discernible.
