I am looking for Movies (DVD's) & Music (DVD's or CD's) that are high quality recordings that will take advantage of my new Hi-End Home Theater with HDTV 1080p & 7.1 Surround Sound.

Two music DVDs to try are "Sessions at 54th Street" and "Eagles - Hell Freezes Over". Note that they may sound better in Stereo than in the Dolby mix. Dolby soundtracks have a lower data rate than normal CDs.
