Hitachi 42PD9800TA or Pioneer PDP4270HD

Has anyone taken a close look at the new 42 inch, 1080p plasma from Hitachi? I'm in the market and the only review available on the web gives this display a pretty good mark. It seems to have all the goods for a very good price - I can get one for about US$2,000
Any comments greatly appreciated.

Addition to the above - just had a look at the Hitachi and Pioneer side by side. I thought the PQ of the Hitachi was very good. Given the reviews of the Pioneer I am very tempted to go with the Hitachi at the price I can get it for.

Any comments on Hitachi PQ appreciated
