I'm considering resubscribing to the electronic version of HiFi+. How long after the print version of the magazine becomes available in the UK does the electronic version become available?
I have received 2 issues of the digital version of HiFi+ after 2 years of problems trying to get the issues on a timely if at all basis. I do want to mention that the people in distribution for North America were always prompt in response and getting the issues to me, but it was frustrating always having to contact them. When I subscribed to the digital version effective issue 77 I got it within moments of subscribing on 1/31/2011. I received issue 78 March 9, 2011. I hope this gives you an idea of timeframe.
A friend of mine subscribes to the digital version of TAS and I subscribe to the print version. He gets his digital issue at least 10-17 days BEFORE I get my print version. We both live in the Midwest (for point of comparison).
It has been 2 years since this first posted. It took 5 weeks from the time the March issue was announced on enjoythemusic.com. I just got it the end of last week. Today issue 98 is announced on enjoythemusic.com. I wonder how long until the digital version is available?
On the same note why isn't the expiration of digital issues not notified of elapse? Print versions are. This refers both to TAS and Hi-Fi+. The digital people give the impression of not wanting our business.
