I had been subscribing to the electronic editions of HiFi+ via newsstand.com and very much enjoyed reading the magazine. When my newsstand subscription expired and I complained of two missing issues newsstand graciously refunded me for the error, and to my surprise told me HiFi+ had canceled their service. After writing to HiFi+ about the missing issues they graciously mailed me issues 67 and 68 and informed me they had switched the electronic subscription provider to NextNewsStand.com.
The hard copy editions of HiFi+ are beautifully printed, easy to read, and the photography first rate in my opinion. I've always had a problem with the extremely small print in Stereophile, and while the TAS printed editions are much better, even they pale in comparison to the latest HiFi+ printed magazine. I have subscribed to Stereophile, TAS, and HiFi+ , but the latter is my favorite largely because of the articles on system setup and tuning. I've also found the 21st Century disc recommendations to be very useful and certainly more reliable in terms of sonic recommendation.
Although the HiFi+ print edition is a little pricey for me (mostly because of the shipping costs from the UK), I will to continue my electronic subscription to HiFi+. The price has even been improved! I want to thank the Alan Sircom and the staff of HiFi+ for an informative and entertaining audiophile magazine.
Thank you so much for your post.
