Hi
I´m planning on buying new speakers for my home wich is small to medium size dimensions.
Please I need help deciding what speakers to buy.
I´m new to the subject of high end audio. I´ve been googling a lot for information and reviews so my list of options is now reduced.
I have a Yamaha RX-V659 receptor and planning to use my sound system for music and movies, more music than movies.
I´m looking for great sound quality speakers, and my budget is about $1000-$1800 dls.
Because I intend to use for music, I´m thinking of towers for left and right frontals. My options are, wich of course are limited in my country. (Not every brand are available)
Yamaha ( $1400 aprox )
NS-555 towers
NSC325 central
YSTSW225 subwoofer
NS333 satelites
Infinity ( $1300 aprox )
Primus 250 towers
C25 central
Primus 150 satelites
W12 subwoofer
Polk ($1650 aprox)
Monitor 50 towers
Monitor 30 satelitales
CSi30 central
(subwoofer not yet decided)
Definitive technologies
Procinema 800 ($1300 aprox)
Procinema 1000 ($1700 aprox)
I´ve read very good opinions about Procinema 1000 from different reviews. They all say their sound quality is huge (equal to systems 3 times mor expensive), and that is a bargain for a system less than $2,000.
Procinema speakers are small compared to Yamaha, Polk and Infinity towers, so i´m not sure how they all compare.
Can def tech outperform towers?
Can my RX-V659 get all juice from those speakers?
How would you rank those configurations?
I guess Infinity and Polk speakers are 1 generation older.
Could you please help me?
Helps in advance....
Greetings
