I saw it a month ago at the DGA in Hollywood. Afterward Eastwood discussed the film. When he walked on stage he received a standing ovation from the all industry crowd.
It's a memorable performance by Eastwood, and he's hinted that it may be his last on screen role. The direction is tight and economical, as is all of Eastwood's work as a director. It's very funny, if not uncomfortably so, to hear some of the lines that come out of his character's mouth. In it's entirety, the film can almost be looked at as the redemption of Dirty Harry.
One of the impressive things in this film is the performance that Eastwood got out of the non-professionals in the cast.
Comments?
Hasn't opened in this backwater of a town yet. But I'll see it when it does.
Are you an eastwood fan?

Any good jazz in the movie ? Eastwood has usually great jazz in his movies.
