Good Luck to Alan Sircom...

Hi,
I'm a fan of Alan writing style, his perspectives on the world of audio and his sonic preferences since he wrote to HFC. I like the way he balances opinion and fact, keeping the proceedings diplomatic and informative at the same time. Alan is intelligent, he writes very well and doesn't afraid to say what he thinks.
One of the most entertaining and honest was his review of the Wilson Sophia II. I remember from it one sentence: "this is the Wilson speaker for those people who do not like Wilson speakers"...
All the best and a very good success in the new job.
Tomer

Where's he going?  Isn't Roy Gregory leaving also?

No, I think Tomer is just commenting on my new(ish) role heading up Hi-Fi Plush, sorry Plus. Thanks, BTW.

Alan, good luck!
I think that Hifi + is on the same, high level as TAS. I will certainly miss Roy and his writings, but maybe he will get tired of the somewhat hyper Lars C and eventually go back to his role as a great audio journalist. This said, we all wish him the best of luck.
One last thing; Please keep on reviewing high end gear and do not turn into a midfi magazine like Hifi News. Focus on the higher end of the scale and do not fall into the category of magazines that tries to cover every segment of the market. Stay focused!

Thanks!
