Golden Ear Awards: Receivers

I was pleased to see that Tony Cordesman gave two Onkyo receivers a golden ear award in the latest TAS (issue 182). He seemed to have trouble with the Audyssey system, but my experience does not parallel his. It works simply and reliably. Yes, the results might vary from measurement to measurement, but in my experience that is because you use different measurement points. Anyway, a great product recognized by an eminent reviewer.

Actually, I was surprised to see so many affordable products on the list.
For someone with kids in college (but who is quite passionate about quality sound), this really helps.
