I need two 32 inch displays for my new home. Both rooms (Kitchen and Bedroom) will have plenty of light. I would like to keep the price between $600-$700 for each television.
A few questions:
1.) Is there any new changes where I might want to hold off on this purchase such as new product line releases?
2.) I've had recommendations for the Sony Bravia, Samsung, AOC, Vizio is there a clear winner?
3.) I've heard that 780p is good enough for the 32 inch, is that correct?
Thanks in advance,
Robidoux
I think you mean 720P, and yes for the size and nature of your viewing requirements 720P will probably be fine.
As to clear winners, no, but none are dogs and none outdistance the others at a similar price-point. They all have their strong points.
Unless you live in a very remote location you should be able to find a local retailer who can demonstrate a good number of 32" displays. I strongly advise you to look at them, not only to judge PQ, but also picture adjustment ergonomics, remote control ergonomics, and overall fit and finish.
