Finite Elemente Pagode versus Walker Prologue Equipment Rack

I'd like to get an equipment rack that has good sonic qualities as well as aethetic ones, and in particular I'd like to get one with real wood shelving.  I'm currently considering the Finite Elemente Pagode Reference and the Walker Prologue Equipment Rack, which recently won a TAS recommended product.  Initially, the rack would have to hold a Boulder 865, an Esoteric X-03, and a Transparent 8 Power Conditioner.  A likely additional component is the Esoteric DAC 07, when it becomes available.
In my city, Toronto, I don't have the opportunity of seeing either of these products locally, both would have to be ordered.  I'd be greatful if anyone has any suggestions regarding these two, or could suggest additional candidates (with real wood shelving.)
I've also considered having a local builder build some custom shelving from 1 3/4" maple, say, 48" wide, 18" deep, and 30" high, with two shelves, and maybe placing the equipment on isolation platforms, perhaps Sonority Design platforms.  Any comment on the likelihood of this option leading to a good result?

This can only be a personal recommendation; I have the Master Reference from Finite Elemente and I am very pleased with it. I like the style, it can take a lot of weight and above all; It helps my system to reach its potential. And, that is what it`s all about for me. If it is "better" than the Walker etc I don`t know.

Thanks JP, that also seems to be the conclusion of my, how should I say, "interior designer."

Take a look  at the Mapelshade website.  Lots of great looking maple accessories including shelving.
