During the last two decades, the number of none audiophile became audiophile is huge in China. There are different reasons of the efforts from different parties.

One reason is that McIntoch China distributor gives out free McIntoch to public libraries. It help give the General public the exposure to hi-fi.

Here are some pictures of a open hi-fi  meeting in a city (3 hours drive distance from Shanghai) public library.

They have in that meeting:

A professor from a music school talking  about music

The Editor-in-Chief from a hi-fi magazine talking about the equipment.

The Head of the library was in the meeting to greet audiophiles and none audiophiles and gather comments on how to run the meeting better.

The library has 3 A/V rooms. It is the largest one. All McIntoches.
