Emotiva Amps

After trying this company's amps, I just had to pass on to this forum the value and fantastic sound of their products. I've gone through a lot of amps and the usual variety of systems, and was stunned with the sound of these amps. Just a suggestion to you guys to take a look at them. I guess this sounds like a sales pitch, but it ain't.

Good to know! I've been thinking about getting their XPA-5 amp for a while now. I may have to just pull the trigger on one!!

I have the XPA5 and have been very happy with it.  One warning, it is EXTREMELY heavy.  The delivery guy even left a note that said, "Be Careful, this thing is Very Heavy!"

How come they don't get reviewed in the main stream press? Just curious.
Thanks

I clearly have not been paying attention! Thanks for the references, which I'll check out ASAP. But am I right in thinking that there hasn't been anything in TAS or Stereophile? I know they can't review everything, but both magazines review budget equipment and I'd have thought that Emotiva gear would fit well into that category. Skeptic that I am, I think, hmmm... why is that reviewers I follow in these magazines haven't reviewed Emotiva gear? Again, the reason is probably just that there's too much out there in this price category (Arcam, Cambridge Audio, NAD, Rotel) that there isn't space, but I for one would really like to see a TAS or Stereophile evaluation.

Steve, those folks at Emotiva are really wonderful and I was inspired enough to take the plunge. Check out their website and the testimonials on their "Emotiva Lounge" website. I have been very happy.

 Hairsonfire,
OK... point taken. I did notice that a Stereophile (I think) writer at CES or one of the other recent expos said he thought the Emotiva DAC looked like good value, mostly because of its multiple connection options. It's also quite inexpensive given its conversion capability. No indication that it would come up for review though.
All best
