Might I ask for any first hand experiences that you might be having, or might have previously had, with a pair of Eggleston speakers.

 The original Andras are among my favorite mid-sized floor-standing speakers.

I was surprised to see that the new Andra III has discontinued the granite cabinet. Does this in any way reflect a cost cutting effort?
