Dynavector XV-1s or Transfiguration Orpheus

I am using a Platine Verdier Turntable with Schroeder DPS and Basis Vector 3 arms. I have been using the Shelter 90X and Soundsmith SMMC1 cartridges. I am now looking to upgrade the Shelter and have been interested in the Dynavector and Transfiguration cartridges. I live in the San Joaquin Valley in California where there are no High End Dealers.

I would like to hear comments from analog experts on these two cartridges. I listen to classical and vocals mostly. I will keep the Soundsmith as a second cartridge on the Vector arm, it's a good sounding cartridge.

I have a Schroeder DPS arm and the XV-1s and find that the combo works well together, better than the previous combo of Miyabi 47 and DPS.

I had a Dynavector 17D in the early 80's, a wonderful cartridge.  Moving into 2001 I purchased a Transfiguration Spirit mounted on a VPI Aries with JMW 10 arm (associated equipment: ARC PH3, ARC LS15, ARC VT50, B&W 802's, Sunfire Sub: this is the analog side of my system).  The Spirit transformed my record collection to levels I never knew existed.  I kept this cartridge until last week (12/31/08) and took a chance on the $5,000 Transfiguration Orpheus.  It only has 10 hours on it but it is amazing!  I can't wait until at least 70 hours when it breaks in and really reveals what it can do, pricey, but if you love music, worth consideration.  There is a cheaper model, the Phoenix at $2,700 that's supposed to sound really good too.  Hope this helps.
