does 'refoam' woofer sound worser than original foam?

My speaker's Dynaudio woofers require refoam.  I doubt if original foam from Dynaudio sound better than the aftermarket foam.  Is there anyone have such experience?
Thanks
Clarence

It all depends on who does the job.

If the job is done correctly you won't know the re-foam from an original.

If not, well, they were nice speakers....

The best way to find a good person to redo the surrounds on your drivers is check with the pro sound dealers in your area.

Most likely they will have a local firm that they use.
