Compatibility between Well Tempered arm and Dynavector 17D3

I have a Larry Pederson modified Well Tempered arm on a WT 'table playing through a C-J PFR and EF 1 phono preamp. Does anyone know whether that cartridge is compatible with the arm? :?:

about 13 years old. Works like a charm even after I sacrificed some 6 pound mono filament fishing like from my enormous collection to rehang the arm tube.

It should work well.

There's a good synergy between the Well Tempered and Dynavector cartridges.

Thanks. I've been advised that the problem is that the C-J phono preamp doesn't quite accommodate the low output 17D3.

Calculating Arm Mass/Cartridge Mass/Cartridge Compliance, it is a perfect match, the resonance frequency is sitting ideally in the 10-12Hz range.

Just bought a Dynavector 17D3 myself to use in a Well Tempered Arm. I haven't got round to putting it in yet! I was using a Denon DL304.

True.

At most the CJ has 52dB gain.

The 17D3 outputs 0.25mV.

If you like the Dynavector sound how about a DV20X-H (high output 2.5mV) ?

Or one of the Sumikos ?
BPS Evo III, Blackbird ?

And keeping within budget there's the new Benz Gliders with 0.8mV or 2.5mV.
