Cleaning AC Cable Terminals

 Is it OK to clean AC cable blades and ground pins with ProGold (DeToxIt)? If not, what's your cleaning substance (or method) of choice?

isophophyl alchohol is the only chemical i would recommend.using anything else would not be smart.

I use a Squalan Oil TR-30 by Yamamurra ( I think). I'm not sure you can get it any more but there are multiple contact solutions available from places like Music Direct ( where you can get Walker Audio) & Acoustic Sounds. Dont neglect the ac outlet as well.
