Chris Martens Peachtree iDecco review

This iDecco looks like it would be a great match for an active pair of speakers, such as my Quad 12L actives, especially since  what appears the weakest part of the component, the power amp, would not be needed as the active speakers have that covered.  Chris, do you know if an iPhone would be able to work with the iPod dock?  Also, with active speakers, I could use a bit longer pair of interconnects than my current 3' Kimbers.  Do you have any recommendations for affordable interconnects, say less than $200/pr, in the 5' - 10' range?
