Chapter Audio Preface Preamp & 2+ power amp - any owners out there?

Just wondering if there any Chapter Audio owners out there who would like to share there opinions on stes ups, tweaks, and advice on using these awesome Amps and Preamps!

Just bought a used Chapter audio Preface+ & Couplet power amp.
Amazed at their transparency and resolution. And at the same time suprised by their complete lack of character, unlike a Krell FPB200 i used to own that had a Strong bass signature.
How are you getting on with your amps?

Hi Matt.
The combination takes a while to get used to. Like you said they are very transparent and have no real sonic signature like a KRELL amp. Having said that, i absolutely love the amp and preamp combination! Try experimenting with different Power cables and interconnects as they do make a difference as well. Also found that having a great source component makes a massive difference. I`m using a Consonance Droplet Cd player and with this set-up it just sounds amazing! Huge soundstage and more than enough bottom end Bass. I`m more than happy with the Chapter Audio Preface preamp, Chapter Audio Two power and Droplet Cd player.
