Center channel recommendation.

I picked up a pair of Dahlquist DQ20i's today and want to put them in my home theatre for a while. What would be a good center channel to match with them? I currently am running a full Klipsch set up, but I do have an older Infinity center channel which I may use in the interim until a proper center for the Dahlquist can be had. I know very little about Dahlquist, so I'm not sure if they even have a center channel. Any help is greatly appreciated!!

To get continuity of sound its always preferable to have a centre channel of the same make as other speakers. If you can get a Dahlquist centre thats good, but if you can't, you may have to buy another pair(Dahlquist's) and use either both or one as a centre. Matching tweeters is a good way to go, you may find some cheaper smaller Dahlquist speakers with similiar tweeters to the ones you have. You should also have same make for rears but not as critical for movies as centre is. Surround sound only requires all speakers to be the same in my book.

The best option is to get three more DQ-20's - one for center and two for rears. Given that most speakers on the used market are sold in pairs, you will probably have to get two more pairs, but on the bright side, you'll have a spare for parts...

The Infinity will work for the interim.

If you want the best center channel setup get yourself a center channel speaker from Zu Audio I would also recommend their fronts(Essence or Definitions), rears(Fx's) and subs(methods). Best sounding speakers that I have ever heard.  They will blow away any speaker that you have heard in the past.  www.zuaudio.com
