CEDIA 2008

sheepherder -- Wed, 09/03/2008 - 17:42

So are you all going to do reports from CEDIA or are you all too busy reading US magazine?

Jonathan Valin -- Thu, 09/04/2008 - 01:46

We all at TAS have never covered CEDIA. We all will be covering RMAF. Since CEDIA is primarily an AV (and custom-install) show, they all at Playback will be covering it.

Gee thanks for the informative answer hoss. This is the Avguide not the TAS guide bro!

We got better coverage last year when their was a real mag ie TPV online!

Maybe the owners could spend a little more money on the HT side instead of devout time and space to audio porn ie speaker systems that sell for over a $100k etc.

Anyone else from Playback have anything to add? Ladies?

Chris will provide some observations. The first day of the show was yesterday, and sometimes it takes a while before the interesting stuff shows up in the schedule, particularly when we're devoting all that time to reading Us and The Star.

Steven Stone -- Sun, 09/07/2008 - 11:41

I will be doing a show report for TAS, but I will not being doing daily bloggs.

We'll publish in the December issue of TAS Steven Stone's report on new products shown at CEDIA that are of interest to TAS readers.

So nothing in Playback? Thanks.

I don't know if Chris will put anything in Playback magazine, but he's finishing up a summary for AVGuide. I think it will be done today or tomorrow.

It's up in several parts on the forums.
Looks like there's a lot of coverage of CEDIA.
Happy viewing & listening,
