CD Quality

-- Mon, 12/22/2008 - 06:08

I have recently started purchasing more of my music via download. As such I have become aware of the various file formats,
MPG, WAV, etc.  But was curious if anyone has detected any difference in the actual quality of the various CD-Rs that are
available on the market. I am currently using Memorex and Maxell which seen, to me at least, to work equally well.
Thanks for  your input!

I have not evaluated different CD-R blanks, but the general consensus is that the black CD-Rs such as Verbatim Vinyl/CD-R and the gold Mobile Fidelity UltraDisc CD-R sound better than generic blanks.
