In the interest of maintaining consistent channel-to-channel voicing, I'd also suggest sticking with Definitive Mythos-family satellites. This would also give you consistent product styling, which can be an important consideration for some enthusiasts.
Monitor Audio Radius: I reviewed a Radius system AVguide Monthly (the review is archived on this site), though my experience with the R45 is limited. I do recall thinking, however, that the two-way R90s offered some compelling benefits vs. the R45s, yet without taking up all that much more space.
However, given that you've started out with a Definitive Solo, I think there's much to be said for sticking with the Mythos family sound.
If, for some reason, the Mythos satellites don't appeal to you, then a superb alternative (and a step up, as I see it) would be Definitive's superb new ProMonitor 1000, which is part of the ProCinema 1000 system reviewed in TPV Issue 70 (available for free download from this site). I felt the ProMonitor 1000s were shockingly good for their size and price.
What price point? Have you looked at the Paradigm Atoms? PSB Alphas?

I would also check out the Gallo Nucleus--very small and quite good.
Why not go for the Mythos Gems?
