Cambridge Azur 540D

I am looking for a new source component and I have just recently read about the Cambridge Azur 540D. Does anyone have any feedback about this unit? Good, indifferent? I am new to hifi and have read good reviews of Cambridge equipment. I am trying to bring the overall quality of my system up, but want to stay within a reasonable budget. Are there other good CD, DVD, multi-channel components in this price range?
