Im looking for an intergrated tube amp perferable with a build in DAC, or something close to that. My budget in less than $600 and im curently looking at the Peachtree Decoo origional. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
don't - any valve amp for $600 would be a disaster
for entry B&W speakers , Rotel are a great match, then get an external dac if you really need one, Cambridge?
Hi brando090 -
How much power do you need? The Chinese have made a number of "tube-pre / solid-state power" integrateds that can do what you want if you're willing to buy used. I think JoLida made one?
If you've GOT to have a built in DAC, then Yamaha (I think) made an integrated with a DAC, but without tubes. You might get the same sound from buying an inexpensive tube DAC and a decent all-solid-state integrated.
I'd be interested in hearing what you choose. Thanks - Boomzilla
