B&W 685

I spent a good amount of time today listening to the B&W 685's and, based on what I heard, they are every bit as good as Wayne Garcia says in last month's TAS. I was that impressed with them- and they were on shelves rather than stands! I cannot believe that companies nowadays are able to extract so much performance from speakers costing well under a grand.

I also spent a bit of time with the 683, which my dealer buddy thinks has a better midrange than the 700 series. Two killer speakers there.
