Buying Used

Wazzup All!
Allow me to start off by saying I earn middle class money so I've always tried to get the most bang-for-my-bucks. My audio system consists of Linn/Audio Research/Arcam/Music reference/Spendor/Billy Bags + cables, record cleaning machines, etc. 80% of my gear was purchased thru Ebay and Audiogon. Even my car is a '98 Q45 Infiniti with less than 80K on it. My system works flawlessly, looks fantastic, and most importantly, it plays music wonderfully. I've done the same with my video puchases, TV's and DVD players originally costing 1000's have always cost me 100's. My most recent scores are a perfect case in point, In Dec. I bought
Sony KD-34XS955 - $610 (included dedicated Sony TV Stand)
OPPO DV-981HD (New, I can afford 2 and change!)
Switched to a cable HD box and I'm in business for less than a grand!
Anyone who knows anything knows that I'm seeing some amazing video. Anybody else going this route?
