business question

I've got a question.  Music Direct and Mobile Fidelity have the same address in Chicago.  Who owns who?
I have nothing good things to say about Mofi, there work is outstanding with the 180 gram vinyl master recordings.  Check some of this stuff out as it sounds amazing.

They are both owned by the same individual. The Chicago location is a warehouse. They have a system playing there usually, but it's not an audiophile setting. They have boxes and cd's all over the place. Needless to say, they do not do their mastering at that Chicago address.

Music Direct acquired Mobile Fidelity a few years ago. They kept all the custom mastering equipment and the facility in Northern California. Wayne Garcia has just written an in-depth feature on Mobile Fidelity, including a trip to their mastering lab. That report will appear in the December issue.
