Bryston BCD-1 versus Ayre CX-7e head to head comparison ???

Hi folks,

Has anyone ever done a head to head comparison of these two CD players on the same system in the same room ?

If so, what are the findings on this comparison please ?

I see that both are about the same price (just under $3K) and are of excellent reviews as being very detailed, open, clear, great high end extension as well as bass impact and depth, midrange liquidity, bloom, drive and pace, etc. as well as having balanced / XLR outputs as I prefer.

Anyone aware of any dealers in or near Allentown, PA that sell both to demo as such ?
