Bryston 3B Fix

-- Thu, 08/27/2009 - 16:28

I have an older Bryston 3B that has a fixed power cord where the rubber has started to crack. I am looking to replace it with a quality cable and I figure I can go two routes.
1) add an IEC connector and use any aftermarket power cable
2) hard wire a new power cable to replace the existing damaged one

Which route would you all recommend?
If it is the second one, is there any place to get a quality cable that just has the plug end on one side and the wires out of the other? I know i can cut off one end and wire it up but would like to avoid that if posisble.
Please let me know your thoughts.
Thanks,
Rich
