blurry display

i have a panasonic 42 inch HDTV connected to direct tv non-hd receiver, connected to a sony dvd player via HDMI connection. every few seconds the display gets blurry then back to sharp. any ideas?

Does it do this with both the DirecTV receiver and DVD player? If so, it sounds like a problem in the TV. Time to call Panasonic. If it does this only with one or the other source device, it could be that and not the TV.
