Remastered from 24/192 digital transfer of analogue masters; implied that there will be a mono set also. Apparently individual titles will be available: http://www.musicdirect.com/p-99215-the-beatles-a-hard-days-night-180g-lp.aspx
Interesting - and many thanks for the head's up. After checking the links, it appears they have quickly taken down the content. Acoustic Sounds also indicates a major vinyl announcement is pending next month, on their website's lead banner. "Legal concerns" prevent them from commenting further.
Combined with your timely alert, I think everyone will now understand what they are talking about.
EMI told Music Direct they'd jumped the gun and made them take the links down. But elsewhere on the net Nov. 12th is given as a release date, and some 4 Beatles vinyl singles have appeared. In the meantime, online arguments have developed over whether the vinyl is really a new vinyl remaster based directly on the 24/192 transcription of the original analogue masters, or just a vinyl pressing based on the 24/44.1 master made for the 2009 CDs and USB stick.
The USB versions sounded great. Given the quality of the recent reissues, I'll safely assume the best, and will buy the set.
I own a number of different releases, and I'm always surprised that Russian Beatles vinyl is rarely referenced - that White Album version is the best I've heard. Some people say they are bootlegs, and others have indicated they are an "official" release. Either way, I wonder how the new ones will compare.
This was posted as a vinyl reissue reference on Steve Hoffman's Music Forum:

“Just for kicks, I sent an email to Abbey Road Studios, regarding the Beatles vinyl remasters, asking:
Simple question – were these mastered using the 24/192 digital masters or 24/44.1?
Thanks!
Dave
“I got this response this morning:
Hi Dave,
Thank you for your email.
For the recent Beatles remasters, The original tapes were copied to digital at 24/192k. The tracks were then remastered at 24/96 and the vinyl was cut from these 24/96K masters.
I hope this answers your question
Regards
Abbey Road Studios”
BTW, it also says there a mono vinyl set is planned.
