Personally, I would not want to watch TV on my PC, as everything I watch is HD and on a large projector with 5.1 channel sound.

I use Hulu for most of my TV on computer watching. Dollhouse and Terminator episodes conflicted with Battlestar Galactica, so I watched them on Hulu.
No, it's not like watching 1080i on my Optoma or Sony projectors, but with a good desktop audio system the experience can still be emotionally involving.
