Hi Jim, I have had the SP-17L for about 6 months now and am finding it very enjoyable. It is very nuetral with just a bit of the ARC "bloom" through the upper midrange, clean and extended in the treble and extended in the bass. I adds little character of its own to the music, I had a CJ PV-5 since 1985 so that probably is influencing my thoughts alot,as it had a very distinct sonic signature.I think the ARC is more accurate.

Any comments? Dealer auditions?
