Burmester has a briiliant marketing strategy. Put the electronics in a sharp, modern case. Name your products after fancy, expensive Porsches - 911, 909, etc. Deepen the association with the fancy car brand by building car stereo for the Porsche cars. The clueless, rich guy with a Burmester in his car, will then supposedly go buy the Burmester gear.
But how do these amps actually sound?
Can the 911 amp actually compete with other amps at that price point? Could a 911 amp drive a Soundlab well?
