After waiting more than 20 minutes on the phone (and still counting) to get a return authorization from Apple for a defective out of the box ipod 160 I STRONGLY recommend that you buy your ipod and other Apple products from someplace else.

Apple's system for doing simple returns is a TOTAL waste of your time.

i have problm in my ipod that im charging for 5 to 6 hours and it is not working proply and otput is noup to the mark

 Try a reboot. Hold down two of the keys (I can't remember which ones right now) and it will shut down completely, then push the center key and it will start up again (hopefully) and work again.
 
Another extreme solution is to open the ipod up and pull the battery and then reconnect it. There's a very good site on ipod repairs - google ipod repair and you'll find it. That site has saved me several times.I think it's called i-fixit.com, but it's been a couple of years since I've had to use it.
