Anybody heard Quad 2805 with REL T1 or T2 subwoofer?

Hello all!
Has anybody heard Quad 2805 with REL T1 or T2 subwoofer?

I have to say that until recently I was not thinking about adding a sub to my Quads at all, but that changed when I heard sound improvement made by small REL quake sub added to excellent Gradient Revolution speakers – significantly better highs and mids, greater clarity, more space around the instruments. What is the most important of all, REL quake was able to mate seamlessly with Gradients.

The reason I mentioned T1 and T2 models specifically is that my budget is significantly exhausted with purchase of Quads and Pass XA30.5 (wonderful match) and I simply cannot stretch for more expansive models. At the same time I have read the rave review of T2 in November 2007 TAS.
Thanks.

Hello,
I was at the High End 2010 in Munchen two week ago, and the very best system was" Answer",  a true full range dipole (15Hz - 30Khz !) from AudioNec  (www.audionec.fr). I am convinced that the bass panel (www.infraplanaf.fr) could be the perfect match to Quad esl 988/2805 (and perhaps esl989/2905 ?). It is powefull and, much more important, very fast with absolutely no overhang.

Get a long-term loaner.  Methinks you'll sniff the sub out easily.  The Quads are just too fast.
