Analogue's reissue of Blue Note on 45rpm vinyl

Much as I applaud the intention of doing some really high quality reissues of some of the Blue Note catalogue, I can't help wondering at the choice of material chosen. I would have absolutely loved to take a subscription and buy the whole series, but most are non-essential.

That's not to say that they do not have musical value, but for many of them, a the old vinyl or a decent CD is good enough for me. For such a high profile reissue program, I was a bit surprised at the choice of titles.

I hope they do eventually get to reissue all the must-have classics.
