Jonathan, can you get an AMR PH-77 to review too? Please ……
I would say the ARC Ref 2 and AMR PH-77 Reference phono are two major phono stages for the 2009, if not for the decade.
They all have some very useful features and similar pricing too, 7800euro (~US$11000) vs. US$12000.
Parts quality and features wise I think the AMR PH-77 may be slightly better (can’t say anything about the sound yet) , but then AMR does not have the same name recognition nor history as ARC.

You be the judge.

And of course, you're not an ARC dealer!
Yeah, I can hear them both from the photos, Brian.
I should make it clear that I didn't post the AMR comment. I merely moved it, by request, from my blog on the ARC Reference 2. It was originally posted by someone named "Carlson."
Let's be more clear. Brian Walsh is an AMR dealer attempting to promote their phono stage in this forum, with a link to his dealer website. The motives for Brian's comments should be sifted through a 'self-serving' filter.

Post of the day!
So, has anyone heard this phono stage yet?
Looks like it could be a "game-changer".
At least Brian did not post under some anonymous disguise........so lets not get bogged down in this distracting dialog and lets talk abou the product and maybe even the company whose principal has been on the DIY landscape from earlier times......
JV while you're at it you need to check their monitor out ..i've heard from acros the pond that it is a trully reference product
