AMR CD-77, any opinions

Folks,
I have recently read some nice comments about the AMR CD-77.1 CD player.  Anyone has experience with this unit and if so...what other units are in this league.  I am trying to evaluate if I should include this in my search for next gen CD/music reproduction...be it a DAC like wavelength or ayre with mac mini....or wadia or arc...or ayre or meridian....thoughtful comments are appreciated.
