amateur SACD enthusiast looking for Recs/advice

recent college grad, getting really into sound quality (on a budget obviously) I really enjoy 5.1 and through my own research have gotten a nice little setup: oppo dv981 hdmi to insignia receiver. I enjoy listening to classical and sacd's through the hdmi cable. Though I ike the multi channel it still has that very digital and bright sound. Some albums give me that ear fatigue feeling after only 30 minutes. (especially the Genesis SACD's know what I mean?) anyway as much as I like HDMI its not giving me that analogue feel that Im looking for (tried vinyl too much hastle) So as a young SACD enthusiast what components do I need to start getting a decent sound that will enhance my regular cd's and SACD's beyond the straight Digtal chain I have?  I don't care about incorporating my whole theater system, I much rather have the best audio experience I can. thank you!

I'd start by replacing the receiver with something that has a straight analog pass-through. Marantz, Denon, Onkyo, and others have units that will give more attention to the signal chain.
