AC Wiring for new listening room

I am building a listenin g room and would like some info on the best type of AC wiring for dedicated equipment outlet.I am a novice and any help on amperage, main box requirements, type of mains wire used, outlet type,etc. would be greatly appreciated.Thanks!

A 15 amp circuit should do, though I see no reason not to ask for a 20 amp circuit. My view would be that well-executed grounding is the next most important thing.
