LG and Warner debuted the two biggest products of the category, not to mention the show. LG's Super Multi Blue disc player adds HD DVD playback capability to a Blu-ray player, and Warner announced True HD, a new disc format that incorporates both formats on either side of the disc.

And while Toshiba showed its next-gen HD DVD player, we also heard that many more manufacturers will begin selling HD DVD players later this year. The one we're looking forward to is from Meridian, which would make HD DVD the first to offer an HD player for the high end.
