AVguide’sPlayback magazine released its first-ever Headphone Buyer’s Guide—an 81-page publication that will be available for free download in PDF format to those who visit the www.avguide.com Web site or to the 330,000 recipients of the weekly AVguide/Playback email newsletters.
The Playback Headphone Buyer’s Guide aims to expose readers to some of the best headphone products on the market and, to this end, it provides expert reviews of 40 headphone models that span three distinct categories: in-ear, noise-cancelling, and high performance headphones. But apart from recommending models of particular merit, the Guide also shows readers how Playback assesses headphones of various types, giving valuable pointers on specific qualities to look for (or problems to avoid).
